Short term rental

The synthetic ice rink can be hired on a short term basis for events and social gatherings.

We will take the full responsibility of transportation, installation, maintenance personnel and disassembly.

A short term rental package will include the following:

Ice skating rink

Come On Ice will primarily deliver a 12 x 12 meter rink. However, the system makes it possible to customize the size of the rink and deliver it adjusted to individual needs and conditions. The ice rink will be delivered complete, including barriers. It can be delivered in two different qualities.

The first alternative is Pro Skating Ice floor which is 20 mm thick and it is recommended for areas with heavy usage. The skating quality of the new Ice panels is excellent and endorsed by top skating professionals and skating coaches alike. The Pro Skating panels are fixed together with double dove-tail tongue and groove splines, creating a virtually seamless surface.

The other alternative, the Skate On panels are 1m x 1m in size, 12mm thick, cut in a jigsaw pattern and suitable for indoor and outdoor usage. They are the perfect option for those clients intending to move their rink around at regular intervals (for short or medium term usage) and for use within shopping malls, hotels, leisure complex, schools, theatrical ice shows, exhibitions etc. The area for installation should be firm and a completely level area. This style of panel is loose laid in a jigsaw format and it greatly reduces the installation time.

Ice skates
108 pair of skates will be delivered with each rink. A rink of 144 m2 will room approximately 50 skaters at the same time.

Rubber Mats
We will deliver rubber mats which are installed outside the rink, like the picture above. These mats are 10 m2 each.

Barriers
The barriers are delivered in three different sizes and systems; a two meter barrier, a one meter barrier and a corner barrier, all attached to the ice.

Side benches
We will normally deliver 10 side benches with each rink. The number of benches will depend on the size of the rink and the number of skaters.

Skate shop
Come On Ice will be able to deliver a “skate rental shop”, where the clients can pick up their skates.

Skate maintenance equipment
We will deliver skate maintenance equipment, including a skate sharpener.

Authorized personnel
When delivering a 144 m2 rink, our crew will be at least 3 persons involved the whole period. The crew will be responsible for transportation, installation, maintenance work and unrigging the rink. All crew personnel will be certified and trained in first aid.

Insurance
Come On Ice will sign up for the necessary insurances needed.

We can provide our clients with a PA sound system including a DVD and CD player. We will also be able to deliver customized decorations and lights depending on the situation and the client’s needs.

Floor cleaning
Come On Ice will deliver the rink including the needed floor cleaning equipment.
